INDUSTRYNEWS The Exciting New Collection »»Innovative fabricator Whiteline has published an exciting brand new, perfect bound, 72 page consumer brochure for their growing network of Installer Partner customers across London, the South East and Home Counties. ‘PlatinumNRG - The Collection’ is a high quality reference guide, introducing consumers to stylish, energy efficient ways to enhance their home, both now and for the future. Evocative lifestyle photography and minimal techno-speak combine to portray the comprehensive range of windows, doors and conservatories, all from PlatinumNRG, the premium brand that is exclusive to Whiteline customers. ‘The Collection’ has already had an extremely good response from customers, who particularly appreciate how it can play a key role in their first pitch to clients. Initial areas of general interest can easily be defined and then developed into more specific details. The options and benefits of various types, styles, designs and materials can be discussed and agreed for each new project, as the sales person creates a specific solution for their prospective new customer. ‘The Collection’ is the latest introduction in the innovative ‘Whiteline 360’ all-round support package that has been developed exclusively for their customers. The Hertfordshire based trade fabricator was established over 40 years ago and attributes its longstanding success to its high levels of quality and service. Welglaze Managing Director Tanya Clarke explains: ‘We pride ourselves on the great service we give our customers. Each of our frames are hand finished to achieve the highest level of quality. “Deceuninck is a company that’s going places. It has a clear direction, is extremely supportive and encouraging, and has a great team. It’s a true partnership.” Tanya also comments on the benefit of working with a supplier that makes it easy to sell colour: “There is increasing demand for colour windows and it has often been a chore so we never pushed ‘stand out from the crowd’ it. But with Deceuninck’s wide range of colour foils available from stock we can now give our customers what they want and stand out from the crowd.” For more information contact Deceuninck Sales Director, Rob McGlennon on 07818 383385 and follow @Deceuninck_Rob. Manufacturers invited to health and safety workshop »»Professionals from across the UK will gather in Telford for a major health and safety event. Organised by the Aluminium Federation (ALFED), the two-day health and safety workshop will take place on 11 and 12 March at the Telford Golf and Spa Hotel. Featuring speakers from Alcoa, Bridgnorth Aluminium, Boal, Toyota, Rio Tinto and the HSE, the workshop will address key health and safety issues facing manufacturers, including on-site transportation safety, Legionnella and the role of positive and negative behaviour in health and safety. The keynote address will be given by Simon MacVicker, ALFED president and managing director of Bridgnorth Aluminium. ALFED chief executive Will Savage said: “The format of the workshop is a mix of presentations, case studies and group discussion. It is a great opportunity to network, and is open to members and non-members alike. Indeed, it will be useful for HR professionals as well as those responsible and health and safety across a range of manufacturing industries, not just aluminium.” There is an optional workshop dinner on 11 March, and accommodation for delegates is available at the workshop venue.
