NEW SPECIFICATION
GUIDE PUBLISHED
» » PROFILE 22 HAS JUST
published a comprehensive new
specification guide. The 74-
page publication explains the
brand’s range of profiles and
hardware in detail and provides
an overview of the services
it provides to architects and
specifiers alike.
The first section of the guide
opens with an introduction to
Profile 22 and Optima. There
is then an introduction to
Profile 22’s specification and
advisory services, which covers
assistance for every stage of
a project through both field
and technical support teams,
including a no-obligation
consultation, specific design
requirements, full specification,
surveying and structural
calculations and an extensive
choice of quality and durable
products.
There is also information on
Profile 22’s approach which
recognises that respective
business goals are best achieved
through working collaboratively
and by establishing short and
long-term agreements with
supply chain members. The final
part of the first section covers
Profile 22’s quality assurance
and environmental credentials
and explores its reputation for
product innovation.

» » ACCORDING TO THE
G-Award winning fabricator, the
expansion of its ex-stock colour
range and corresponding cuts in
lead times and costs, has led to
growth in foils sales, which now
account for more than 25% of all
orders.
This follows a restructure of
its offer at the beginning of this
year, which made foiled Cream,
Anthracite Grey, Anthracite Grey
on White, Black Brown, and
Black Brown on White available
as ex-stock standard colours.
John Leary, Sales and
Marketing Director, Emplas,
said: “The impact foiled product
is having on a second-time
replacement market is very
difficult to overstate. Having
restructured our offer at the
beginning of the year to increase
affordability but also speed of
delivery, we have recorded good
growth in sales.
“Adding Cream, Anthracite
Grey, Anthracite Grey on White,
Black Brown, and Black Brown
on White as ex-stock foils in
addition to White, Golden Oak
and Rosewood, we can now offer
eight ex-stock colours available
in lead times of 10 days or less,
plus an extensive range of special
foils.”

Everything fabricators need
– and the stats back this up
» » RECENT MARKET DATA REVEALED
that more and more fabricators are choosing
to hedge their bets and fabricate two systems.
But one system to buck this trend is Optima
from Profile 22.
Optima is an advanced high-performance
system. Available in sculptured and chamfered
variants, it incorporates features that rival
systems don’t and doesn’t use gimmicks or
quick fixes. It’s complete, fully integrated
and its thermal performance of up to A++ is
outstanding. It’s aesthetically appealing, simple
to fabricate and easy to install.
The ease of switchover is thanks to a
meticulously planned process that’s been tried
and tested. Profile 22 promises fabricators
they’ll be able to stop manufacturing one
system on the Friday and start manufacturing
Optima on the Monday – a promise that
has never been broken yet. It means the
changeover can be seamless with no loss of
production time.
Finally, there’s the support on offer. There
is a complete suite of Profile 22 marketing
material plus technical and customer
service support whenever it’s needed. This is
complemented with the new Excellence as
Standard membership programme, which is
setting a new benchmark in the industry.
