HERITAGE AT LAST, A FABRICATOR THAT’S FINALLY CRACKED INSTALLER MARKETING SUPPORT » » ‘INSTALLER MARKETING support’ has become something of a buzzword that most fabricators claim to offer but very few can deliver on. This is the view of Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director of Dekko Window Systems, who talks candidly to Clearview about their new suite of marketing literature and how it can help installers grow their business. “The marketing support provided by most fabricators is little more than a generic brochure - often provided by the systems supplier, a showroom poster and very little else,” Kurt comments. “If the installer kicks up a fuss, the fabricator might help with a direct marketing campaign, but this kind of bespoke support is rarely very forthcoming.” MAKE IT YOURS – FULLY CUSTOMISABLE INSTALLER MARKETING MATERIALS “At Dekko, we do things very differently,” Kurt continues. “We’ve created a marketing support package that genuinely offers installers something different and will help them stand out from the competition. It’s called ‘Make it Yours’ and includes beautifully designed brochures, point of sale material, online content, videos and much more.” So why is it called Make It Yours? “All the marketing material is fully customisable – so we will quite literally ‘make it yours,’” Kurt explains. “For example, w e’ll add the installers logo to the brochure and amend the content Traditionally Styled PVC Doors, Windows and Flush Sashes when so it effectively communicates their unique brand message. We’ll also proactively work with installers on specific projects, for example, a lead generation campaign or a PR initiative, which we do through our in- house marketing resource and our partners at Purplex. We supply a very extensive product range spanning uPVC, aluminium, composite doors and garage doors; and the literature covers the entire spectrum.” So why are Dekko investing in Make It Yours? “The role of the trade fabricator has changed considerably over the past decade,” Kurt comments. “10 years ago, all a fabricator needed to do was to make a good window, sell it at a fair price and deliver it on time, but in today’s cut throat market, that isn’t enough. Competition in the retail space is tough and installers need support from their suppliers to help them win business over the nationals and their local Modern, Contemporary Aluminium Windows and Doors Tradition meets Modern Fabricators of PVCu and Aluminium Windows and Doors The Climatec Collection “More than just a window” www.climatec-windows.co.uk Tel: 01702 613733 62 » AUG 2017 » CL EARVI E W- UK .
