New Marketing Manager

HWL WINDOWS GROUP , A well established Yorkshire-based manufacturer of windows , doors and conservatories , is pleased to announce that Amelia Annakin has joined the team as Marketing Manager .
Amelia Annakin , who joins HWL Windows Group with a background in PR and marketing , will be responsible for the co-ordination of day-to-day marketing activities for the six companies within the Group .
Graham Howatson , Operations Director at HWL Windows Group , said , “ In our market , you need to be extremely competitive and clever with your marketing . Amelia ’ s role will help HWL Windows Group to effectively convey our key messages , nurture relationships with prospective and current customers and communicate our success stories , as well as the value we deliver . Before joining HWL Windows Group , Amelia was Client Services Manager at Shrewdd Marketing , a B2B branding and marketing agency based in Halifax . Amelia worked with a number of leading Yorkshirebased customers , including Harvard Technology and Innserve .
Amelia said , “ I am really excited to have joined HWL Windows Group . I look forward to supporting the further expansion of the company and helping to shape the Group ’ s communications , both internally and externally . It is clear that it will be a great company to be a part of .”
Amelia will be based at the HWL Windows Group ’ s head office in Armley , Leeds . 40 Year Celebration
Celebrations have been taking place at leading hardware supplier , Kenrick , as Steve Williams , Sales and Marketing Director at the firm , celebrates 40 continuous years ’ service in the window industry .

STEVE JOINED THE INDUSTRY IN 1976 as a junior draughtsman with Plastal Ltd , which was one of only two PVCu fabricators in the UK . He then took on the role of Factory Manager with another window fabricator before moving to one of the UK ’ s first hardware distributors where he worked for nearly 20 years in a variety of sales roles . Steve then moved to Groupco , a Kenrick customer , where he became familiar with Kenrick ’ s products , before joining another major hardware distributor . He took on the role of Sales and Marketing Director at Kenrick in 2012 and has been instrumental in developing and launching a number of new products to the market since joining the West Bromwichbased company .
With a vast experience in both hardware and PVCu window fabrication ( Steve is able to fabricate windows and doors from profile bar length to the finished and installed product ), he has a rare skillset coupled with an understanding of the needs of the fabricator , installer , distributor and homeowner .
Steve says : “ I am really pleased to celebrate this notable milestone in my career . The way that hardware products are manufactured , distributed and sold has evolved since I joined the industry in the mid-1970s . I am proud to have been at the forefront of championing British hardware and to help the sector to develop and prosper . Kenrick is passionate about quality and innovation and I am looking forward to building on our reputation and strengthening our portfolio of hardware solutions .”
