Finding another independent business to work in partnership with us to achieve our requirements was a real bonus and we are delighted to say that Modplan have certainly been true to their promises and consistently delivered a great quality product in line with their quoted lead times.” The window and door industry has experienced difficult trading throughout 2018, with FENSA reporting an 8% decline in overall sales. Against this backdrop, in the same period, Leekes has seen sales increase by £1million, which further reflects the success of the partnership they have formed with Modplan. Leekes now exclusively offers a Halo 10 window system, manufactured from the VEKA profile fabricated by Modplan in the dedicated factory. All of the components are rigorously quality checked and many hold lifetime guarantees and the tight controls in place in the Leekes / Modplan factory ensure that the finished product is industry leading. Peter Martin, Leekes Store Operations Director explains: “We have found that our customers are excited by our new range of windows and doors and recognising the fantastic quality in our in-store displays. And, when we have asked for feedback, 94% rated their windows and doors as either ‘excellent’ or ‘good’, with 91% saying that they would recommend Leekes windows and doors to their friends and family. These factors have helped us to grow our market share and have had the most significant impact on our sales growth.
