COMPLEMENTARY HARDWARE BROCHURE LAUNCHED
Glazerite customers will now be able to show homeowners a clearer picture of their hardware choices with the launch of a dedicated brochure for them to use in conjunction with existing VEKA marketing material. Director Jason Thompson explained: “The VEKA literature features generic installation pictures from a number of manufacturers and installers who all use different hardware from various sources. Our bespoke hardware brochure shows the quality of the fittings used whilst also explaining in laymen’s terms the features and benefits to the homeowner. We have now made it easier for homeowners to clearly see the options available all in one place, which in turn helps them make a more informed decision by using this brochure alongside the VEKA material.” Trade customers are able to show consumers details such as Glazerite’s choice of offset handle, as well as locking mechanisms, door handles and of course the choices of hardware colours. The brochure also explains how the company offers a ten year guarantee on all of its hardware and how consumers can upgrade their security options and even gain the benefits of being covered by the Maco Secure Plus scheme.
Thresholds
The options for the threshold section of a door outer frame include substituting the standard outer frame for a slim outer frame pvcu section, or alternatively selecting on of the low aluminium choices. All standard aluminium thresholds have the option to fit a wheelchair ramp extension to the threshold to comply with part M regulations. All aluminium thresholds come in either silver or gold anodised finish and are face drained to ensure maximum efficiency. Gasket carriers are fitted to the underneath of the sash providing a watertight seal on the GW threshold.

Synseal has once again proved that systems suppliers should be relied on for more than just lengths of profile, by signing an exclusive hardware supply agreement with Crystal Direct.
