GLAZERITE UNVEILS NEW WAVE
Glazerite Windows New Wave slide and
swing patio door system combines the best
of bi-folds, patio and French doors. Each
leaf can be independently swung open, slid
sideways or both, giving versatility and ease
of use in openings up to six metres wide.
Glazerite is equipping New Wave doors with
Maco CTS door locks, SFS 2D hinges and
Fab & Fix hardware, giving a high security
standard plus a perfect visual match with
all Glazerite’s door and window products.
Frames are based on the VEKA 70mm fully
sculptured system, combining good looks with
technical excellence. The door mechanism
uses the patented Magnaline slide and stack
technology with less visible hardware for a
more streamlined finish.
New Wave is available for openings sized
from 1,200mm to 6,000mm, using anything
from two to seven door leaves, and in 36
colour combinations in all foil or foil on white
options from the entire VEKA Variations
range. Each comes with a 10 year guarantee,
including hardware.

Solidor has again been chosen by
Winkhaus as a launch partner,
this time for the patented
blueMatic AV2-B battery
operated automatic multi-point
locking system, a 21st Century
keyless solution for modern
composite doors.
The blueMatic AV2-B is a keyless
operating system based on the
renowned Winkhaus automatic
AV2 Lock, which Solidor was
a launch partner for back in
November 2012. The automatic
AV2 mechanical lock operates as
AV2-B has also been developed
to comply with the forthcoming
EN15685 European Standard for
mult i-point locks, including annex
EN14846 electronic access devices
and has been tested in doorsets to
PAS23/24 durability and security
standards.

the show’ in London
Leading members of the
business and education world
were captivated by Hameldon
Community College Student,
Keaton Newcombe Dickson
at a prestigious London-based
business event.
Keaton was invited to speak
at Business in the Community’s
National Business Class
Symposium at Goldman Sachs
offices in London, following his
outstanding performance in a local

by Burnley company VEKA and
its Business Class partner school,
Hameldon Community College.
VEKA’s Head of HR, Gabriela
