ERA’s new product proves
to be totally ‘Invincible’

Proving the point of being
one of the top hardware
manufacturers and
suppliers in the industry,
ERA demonstrated yet
another first-of its-kind,
innovative idea at the
2014 FIT show with the
launch of their ‘Invincible’
cylinder.
The new Invincible cylinder
is uniquely shaped with
more than 85% more metal

than a standard cylinder
to strengthen the cylinder
against attack. ERA also
designed and launched a
new range of handles and
lock case to complement
the product.

have developed products
to protect the cylinder from
plug extraction, bumping
and snapping, we have
developed a cylinder that
completely eliminates the
problem”
“And to prove our point
we demonstrated how the
new Invincible cylinder can
perform by treating visitors
to a live demonstration
of the product versus a

standard euro-cylinder
every hour over the three
day event. Each time the
Invincible cylinder was
unbeatable, even after three
minutes of forceful attack.”

The Invincible cylinder has
been redesigned to create
a more robust ‘squared’ off
platform that significantly
strengthens the mechanism
against attack - of any kind.
Even after 15 minutes attack
at ERA’s UKAS accredited
test house, the cylinder
could not be beaten.
ERA also profiled a
range of Fab & Fix door
and window hardware
products.
Fab and Fix was acquired
by ERA 2 years ago and

since joining the group
the range of products has
grown to cover more than
250 different products
in 11 different finishes,
including the recently
added ‘Graphite’, a brushed
chrome effect colour.
Fab and Fix has also
added the S Series Stainless
Steel range, a choice of
hardware manufactured
from investment cast grade
316 austenitic stainless
steel which delivers an
outstanding 1000 hours of
salt spray resistance.
