middle aged imposed on workers in these ‘ ultra-modern ’ civilized globalized world has been reported from Andhra Pradesh – a shame on the humanity and unmitigated insult perpetuated against the human dignity of working class .
In the Heera Electro Smelters Company situated at Bobbili Growth Centre in Vizianagaram district , the supervisors and management representatives started behaving indecently and sexually harassing women workers . Unable to bear the harassment , the women workers with the help of male workers have resisted and asked for explanation of the management over this misbehavior and harassment of women workers .
Taking this as an affront the management made a false complaint with the police that the workers made an attack on them . However after hearing both the versions the police made a compromise and asked both sides to go back to work and advised to be cordial with each other and behave properly .
When male workers , who were implicated in the false case with police , came to report to duties , the management had stopped them from joining the duty and asked them to clean the shoes of the management representatives and get excused to join the duty .
Ironically these workers are the elected as the Panchayat members of their village . When these workers have appealed the management to leave them away since they are to be respected as elected panchayat members , the management had not heeded their request and asked them to clean the shoes . Thus they were forced and made to clean the shoes of management representatives as an atonement for resisting and questing the management . When the workers were cleaning the shoes , the HR staff video graphed them in their cell phones and sent them to the head office at Raipur .
All this barbarity has occurred on 5th February 2018 . Recently much talk and propaganda is being done on work place sexual harassment of women employees and the laws enacted supposed to protect them .
But the actual experience of the workers exposes the futility of such talk and laws in a semi-feudal social system where managements appear with make-up of a modern HR management policies devised by the US imperialist management system of inhuman and ruthless exploitation .
While the above incidents delineates the real pathetic state of condition of workers in India without justice and human dignity , they also inversely reflect the pitiable condition of the workers ’ movement in India which is incapable of delivering goods and which immediately needs to prepare to meet the situation . �

Again Aligarh Muslim University ( AMU ) became a target for the Hindu communal forces . The hooligans of Hindu Yuva Vahini and ABVP forced their entry into AMU campus on 2 nd May demanding the removal portrait of Jinnah which is there since 1938 . When the students of AMU resisted , the hooligans resorted to violence . Instead of arresting them , the police attacked students with lathis and tear gas while they were proceeding to file a complaint . The Chief Minister of UP Yogi openly supported the demand of hooligans while his labour minister another Swami called Jinnah as a Mahapurush .
The Congress historians blame Jinnah for the partition of Indian subcontinent , while the extreme right forces like Jana Sangh , the predecessor of BJP , blames Nehru and Gandhi for the same , as though either Nehru or Jinnah had
16 taken the purportedly correct stand , the partition would have been averted . The argument of both the sides ignores the conspiracy of British colonial rulers . They were the architects of partition conspiring to divide the people on the basis of religion and are still ensuring that there will not be normal relations among the countries of Indian subcontinent .
The RSS and its cohorts are blaming Nehru for the partition on one side and on the other giving call for Akhand Bharat . If anyone was to be blamed for two national theory , it should be V D Savarkar , who pronounced Hindus as a nation as far back as 1923 , while Jinnah accepted it only in late forties . Any person with meanest intelligence could understand the implications of two nation theory , that is , partition of the India basing on religion , which the British wanted .
The portrait of Jinnah was made into a controversy as a part of BJP agenda for 2018 elections to Parliament . The communal feeling thus raked up will be continually stoked to consolidate the Hindu votes in its favour .
At another plane , the violence at AMU unleashed by the Hindu communal forces is yet another attempt , or rather continuation of it , as we witnessed in HCU , JNU and many other universities , to decimate the centres of higher learning from alternative discourse and divert and suppress the opposition to the privatisation of universities the BJP government steam rolling with all impunity .
The democratic and secular forces in the country should resist these heinous attacks of communal forces which are using every untruth to tear asunder the fabric of communal harmony that the people of India had woven for generations together .
