some programmes organised in the
Rohtas district of Bihar during
March and June of 2018.

W omen’s Day: Rohtas District
Committee of Mahila Mukti
Sanghatan has organised a rally
and Hall meeting in the district
H.Qrts Sasaram. The Hall was
overflowing. The Hall has
reverberated with slogans like,
“imperialism, landlordism and
capitalism-down, down; end
attacks and atrocities on Women;
ensure equal rights for women, etc.
The meeting was presided over by
Com. Tileshwari Paswan, the
President of of Mahila Mukti
Sanghatana (MMS) and conducted
by Com. Yashoda Kushvah, the
Secretary of MMS. Leaders of
MMS,CPI(ML), AIKMKS have
addressed the meeting. Pramila
Singh, Ex-chairperson of Zilla
Parishad was one among the
speakers. In between there were
revolutionary songs which were
quite inspiring and highlighted the
rights and struggles of Women.
Com. Ashok Kumar Vaid,
Rohatas District Secretary of CPI
(ML) has said in his address that
India continues to be a semi-
colonial and semi-feudal society.
The equal rights are still a dream
for women. Women are made to do
menial services. Govts sponsor the
girls for dance programmes
