Stanley Chow is happy doing what he loves . His career took off when he decided to follow his passion by illustrating footballers , and his work caught the attention of an editor at The New Yorker . His portraits of pop-culture icons have grown to include athletes , actors , politicians , and musicians and are featured in the world ’ s most prestigious magazines . Stanley spoke to me about growing up in Manchester and how his love of football continues to influence his creative process .
