Everyone knows about playing board games, but did you know you could play Table-top Role-play games? Usually this involves a group gathering together to play out an adventure. Usually the game consists of the players and Game Master. The Game Master is who sets of the quest and makes sure everyone abides by the rules. The most common Table-top role-play game is Dungeons and Dragons otherwise known as D&D.

The last variety has so many other little sub-categories that belong to it, though overall, the last is Electronic Media. This is where you use Electronics’ to play the game, whether it be alone or with multiple people. While some of the role-play games can be played off-line, a great deal of these are done online. There are strictly text based role-playing which can be done using chat servers and forums, examples of this is Yahoo Groups and Second Life Chat Server. Another variation of text based Role-play is games that tell you a story and give you options to take, an old classic named Zork. All of this is done using only the imagination and words given to you on the screen.
