Health Academy
Nurse Aide Training for English Language Learners
Location: Sonia Gutierrez Campus
Through this 10-month Nurse Aide Training program, students are prepared to become
certified nurse aides by earning more than 200 hours of instruction and lab skills.
Clinical experience is held at a clinical partner site for 10 days during the semester.
Students also strengthen their English skills with the support of an ESL teacher.
Requirements:
- Eligible for ESL 6 or higher
- Advising session with the Health Academy Director or designee
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass criminal background check
