KITCHINGMAN DIVULGES HER TOP SUMMER
TRAVEL DESTINATIONS WHILE KEEPING FIT
AND HEALTHY
Ramadan is upon us and many people choose this time to travel.
Whether it’s travelling to spend time with family during the religious
month, or taking a vacation with friends to get away from the Dubai
heat.
Amy Kitchingman, the TV host of Physique TV’s travel show On The
Go, has listed a few of her top summer destinations to travel to this
summer with helpful tips to stay fit and healthy.
Thailand on Top
There are millions of ways to explore Thailand; gastronomy, shopping,
wellness, luxury, soft adventure, culture, beauty and fashion, you name
it and it is all available.
Thailand is a great destination for both family travel and with friends
due to its diversity!
Thailand is not just beautiful beaches but is also rich in culture. Why
not head to the North of Thailand where the temperatures are a little
cooler in the summer season and see some of the beautiful temples?
Alternatively, why not check out some of the amazing spas and wellness
centres Thailand has to offer? A big craze now is fitness bootcamp
holidays and Thailand has some of the best. Whether it’s a specific
bootcamp for kickboxing or detoxing, or something more general like an
overall fitness bootcamp, Thailand has top professionals, destinations
and facilities to help you achieve your goals.
Sri Lanka is rich in different exciting sports activities such as cricket,
surfing, white water rafting, kayaking, diving, snorkelling, cycling as
well yoga and meditation. It is also perfect for a quick getaway as it is
only 3 hours away from UAE.
Travel Tip. Whilst in Sri Lanka, sign up to a surf school during your
stay! Surfing is so much fun and Sri Lanka has great waves for all
abilities. It’s a great way to tone and burn calories whilst having a lot
of fun!
Nomadic in New York
Travel Tip. Take advantage of the amazing massages available in
You will never run out of things to do in New York. It's truly a tourist’s
paradise. The city has so much to offer and is easy to navigate around.
I have been to New York numerous times and have never run out
of things to do. One thing I noticed this time on my trip is the bikes
dotted around the city available for rent. This is a perfect way to explore
Central Park, whilst burning those extra calories needed for that slice of
New York cheesecake!
Spice it up in Sri Lanka
Travel tip. My top tip for exploring New York is to wear comfortable
Thailand. If you are having an energetic vacation this is the perfect way
to relax!
Sri Lanka is also one of the most exciting destinations, where aside from
the stunning nature and hot attractions, people are also very warm and
friendly. I was in Sri Lanka a few weeks ago and I was welcomed with
