Residents were asked if they felt safe in neighborhoods and business areas during the day and during the
evening. For both neighborhoods and business areas, more people responded that they felt less safe during the
day and at night, however, the feeling safe in business areas at night significantly decreased from 55.7% in FY
2011 to 45.4% in FY 2012.
