Access to City Government & Importance of Internet Rating of “providing citizen access or input to government” has dropped to its lowest level since 2000. • Arlington residents continue to feel the need for improvement in the city providing citizen access and input to city government. The city’s effort to keep the public informed is also perceived positively. • Seventy six percent of Arlington residents feel that the City keeps them informed. • However, except for the Cowboy stadium project and the water conservation campaign, the levels of being informed at least somewhat about various city projects and campaigns appear to be moderate. Parks and recreation programs and the I-30 Improvement Project improved to 65 percent and 64 percent respectively. All other programs remained at about 50% or lower. Decision Analyst, Inc. 11
