The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/
AED program is to help participants recognize and
respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid
emergencies for adults, children, and infants. The courses
in this program teach skills that participants need to know
to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person
until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take
over. This program will include a two-year certification
from the American Red Cross.

Jr. Civic Workshops
6th-8th graders are invited to attend monthly workshops
on the 2nd Tuesday. Workshop schedule: January 9, O.C.
Fire Authority; February 13, Police Services; March 13,
Judge in the Juvenile Court System. Register each month
at LNteens.org. Community Service hours are awarded
each month. Check in begins at 6:15pm.

SAT Bootcamp
It’s time to turn racing hearts and sweaty palms into higher
scores and newfound confidence! Sylvan Learning wants to
help with your SAT Preparation with our exclusive SAT Boot
Camp. This one-day, 3-hour Bootcamp is the perfect course for
students taking the SAT on Dec 2nd who need a little extra
boost before the test. The SAT Bootcamp will practice the test’s
structure, time management during the SAT, review strategies
for all content areas of the test and more! Working with our
specialized SAT instructors students will enjoy an interactive
class and will even receive a workbook to take home and
continue to practice on their own leading up to the test!
BONUS: Students who sign up for the SAT Bootcamp before
November 14th, will receive a FREE full-length practice SAT.

Learn how to prevent accidents, what to do in case of
an emergency, child development, do’s and don’ts, age-
appropriate games, job searching, and finances. Don’t just
