Jr. Civic Workshops
6th-8th graders are invited to attend
monthly workshops on the 2nd Tuesday
of each month to learn about their local
government while earning community
service hours. Speaker schedule:
January 8 - Emergency Services & O.C.
Fire Authority; Feb. 12 - Police Services
& Explorers program; March 12 – Fossils and historical
animals of Laguna Niguel. Register each month at
LNteens.org. Check in begins at 6:15pm.

Super Sitters
Learn how to prevent accidents, what to do in case of
an emergency, child development, do’s and don’ts, age-
appropriate games, job searching, and finances. Don’t just be
a babysitter – be a super sitter! Bring paper / pencil and
please ask an adult to attend the last 15 minutes of class.

CPR, First Aid, AED Instruction
The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/ AED program is
to help participants recognize and respond appropriately
to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The
courses in this program teach skills that participants need
to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or
ill person and decide whether advanced medical care is
needed. This program will include a two-year certification
from the American Red Cross.

Learn strategies to reduce and prevent victimization
and promote self-confidence. GET SAFE Female
Empowerment Initiative educates females on the

of violent behavior

the cycle of violence
before it starts. Males

techniques
for

the Laguna Niguel Police Services, is hosting this event
at Fresh Brothers Pizza. Break down the barriers by
getting to know your local Deputies, ask questions
about their jobs, and enjoy some great pizza with other
high school students!
