Summer Reading Program
June 18 - July 30
Children & teens can keep reading skills high during the break
by participating in the summer reading program while earning
incentives! Stop by for details and to sign up. Every Thursday at
11 am during the summer reading program the library will host
special performers for children of all ages.
Toddler Storytime
Wednesdays, June 20 - July 25, 10:30am (ages 2 and younger)
Enjoy simple stories, fingerplays, and movement activities.
Followed by a 15-minute playtime. Space is limited.
Pre-School Storytime
Wednesdays, June 20 - July 25, 11:30am (ages 3 and older)
Different themed stories will be introduced each week along
with finger plays, songs, and movement activities. Followed by
a 15-minute playtime. Space is limited.
Reading is Fun!
Tuesdays, June 19 - July 31, 3:30-4:30pm
Beginning readers can practice fluency, vocabulary, and
comprehension by reading a good book to teen volunteers.
Sunshine Readers Family Storytime
Fridays, June 15 - August 3, 11am
High school volunteers from the National Charity League
spread a little sunshine by reading and playacting stories
to children and families.
TEENS
Teen Volunteer Opportunities - 13 yrs +
Summer reading volunteers are needed. Interested teens should
speak with Youth Services Librarian Serene Salgado for details.
