David’s outstanding, dedicated service to the community is indeed worthy of recognition and very deserving of the 2016 Citizen of the Year Award. Congratulations David and thank you for all that you do! The Citizen of the Year award began as a joint project of Laguna Niguel Service organizations to recognize a citizen who has demonstrated outstanding voluntary service. A committee of former Citizen of the Year recipients convenes annually to select the winner. Nominations are usually accepted during the month of April. If you would like to nominate someone for the 2017 Citizen of the Year Award, details will be available on the City’s website in early 2018.
