STRATEGIC PLAN IN ACTION GOAL 7, HIGH PERFORMING GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION The City of Port St. Lucie provides an option for residents to report concerns relating to city services or conditions through their mobile devices using the AccessPSL smartphone application. Issues such as litter, water leaks, vandalism and more can be reported in a few simple steps. Users are given the location and type of concern, plus they have the op- tion of uploading a picture or video with their request for service. Once the concern has been reported, the user will receive updates on the status of the request, as well as maps showing the locations of other reports filed. AccessPSL is a free application available for download in the Apple App Store for Apple devices and Google Play Store for Android. USE OF ACCESSPSL INCREASED THIS FISCAL YEAR: In FY17 a total of 1,562 requests were made via the Access PSL app (considerably up from 407 requests in FY16) or an average of 4.3 reports per day. Requests ranged from “PSL Rocks the City” (24.1%) to traffic operations (2%) with the top request relating to code compliance (29.2%). Requests took on average 4.5 days to close, a slight increase from FY16 3.4 close time. The City will be periodically analyzing data from AccessPSL to address concerns, im- prove operations and identify trends.
