UTILITY SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT 1. PROPOSED UPGRADES TO WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM IN SOUTHPORT UNIT 5 AREA • Upgrade work includes construction of vacuum-based collection system and vacuum pumping station • Public information meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center • Utility Systems staff and vacuum-based system ex- perts will be there to educate attendees and answer questions 2. THREE UTILITY SYSTEMS STAFF MEMBERS WILL BE JUDGING THE 30TH ANNUAL ST. LUCIE REGIONAL STEM FAIR ON FEBRUARY 9 AT INDIAN RIVER STATE COLLEGE • Grades K-12 from 49 schools will be participating, sending approximately 400 display boards • The fair provides an opportunity to showcase young scientists and engineers, encouraging scientific dis- covery and innovation in our youth 3.
