PD Obstacle
Course
The Port St. Lucie Police Department
revealed its redesigned obstacle
course on September 14, 2018,
thanks to a partnership with local
businesses. The obstacle course,
designed in 1986, was in serious
need of repair and improved
landscaping. The Training Section
utilizes the obstacle course in the
hiring process and career ladder
program. The SWAT Team also
uses the course to train. Within
six months, the obstacle course
was remodeled and rebuilt with the
generous donations from Lowes of
St. Lucie West, Veteran’s Fence,
McKinado’s Welding and Fabrication,
Pike Construction, Liberty Tire
Recycling and Nature’s Keeper.
