CUSTOMER SERVICE 24/7 Online Permitting During a recent Aluminum Structure Contractor stakeholder meeting, contractors requested a more uniform permit fee structure for these permits, as well as the ability for online permitting. As a result, the Building Department proposed a reduction in some of the fees related to this type of construction which was approved by City Council on Feb. 12, 2018. The City has expanded its efforts to make the building process more accessible and more convenient with three new online permitting options. Those seeking permits for aluminum screen enclosures, patio enclosures and aluminum pan roofs can now apply for these permits online, which is available to contractors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
