KPSLB has worked for more than 16 years beautifying neighborhoods and organizing the City’s Adopt-A-Street program. Taking its lead from Keep Florida Beautiful, KPSLB aims to empower residents to take a direct role in keeping the City clean and beautiful. In 2017, KPSLB engaged more volunteers than the previous year, doubling the number of participants and amount of trash collected in the City’s Annual Clean Up Day. It increased the number of households served at the annual Hazardous Waste Collection Day by 30 percent. Also in 2017, the number of community groups participating in the Adopt-A-Street program grew by 7 percent. POR KEEP PORT ST.
