ENGAGEMENT
As an organization, the City of Port St. Lucie considers community
members an integral part of the team. City staff is expected to
seek out partnerships with businesses and residents. After all,
this is their hometown and their views should be understood
and heard. From the naming of parks to preparing for hurricane
season, the organization has worked to include residents and
other community stakeholders in discussions and seek their input
when making decisions. It’s not always all work and no play. Staff
engaged residents in some fun in 2017 – including showing off
their holiday lights and painting rocks.
