vettura elettrica in circolazione”. Come quasi
sempre accade la standardizzazione è prima
definita a livello continentale e poi piano piano
a livello globale.
modelli a 7,4 kW molti meno a 11 e 22 kW
rimanendo nell’ambito della CA. Ancora
ABB’s automated fast charging
system for electric buses
Enabling large scale adoption of zero emission buses, thus improving life in cities
Easy to integrate into
existing bus lines
Modular design to
multiply power options
Maximum availability
with fast service
Future-proof
international standard
The inverted pantograph enables the
use of a low-cost and low-weight
interface on the roof of the bus
allowing bus manufacturers to reduce
the vehicle’s weight and cost, and
improve its energy efficiency.
The modular design, offering charging
power of 150kW, 300kW or 450kW,
provides any city bus with enough
energy in only 4-6 minutes to run its
inner-city route 24/7.
ABB’s proven suite of connectivity
features, including remote diagnostics,
remote management and over-theair software upgradability enables
maximum availability, high uptime
and fast service response.
ABB’s automatic charging system is
based on IEC 61851-23, the international
standard for fast charging of electric
vehicles, ensuring the appropriate safety
systems are in place, the electrical
design is in accordance with regulations,
and the systems architecture and
working principle are supported by wider
automotive community in the future.
