architecture and sustainability
Each pavilion in Expo 2015
will be characterized by
a strong component of
sustainable design, each will
be marked by a theme and an
architectural symbolic element
that will make unique and
memorable. The theme of the
Pavilion is “Fields of ideas”, its
architectural structure provide
to sustainable and creative
responses highlighted by Expo
Milan 2015.
The German Pavilion main
element will be the cover
soft membrane similar to
open leaves against the
sky. These “Solar Trees” will
raise the energy to whole
construction, these are
made with the innovative
organic photovoltaic panels
(OPV), the German Pavilion
is the first big architectural
project, world-wide, which
use these new products.
