Intellidance
Intellidance classes are full of creative
movement and interaction. It was a
wonderful introduction to the world of dance
for my son, who had never done anything
like it before. Intellidance classes are the
perfect balance of structure and freedom;
the kids are taught dance choreography,
but are encouraged to ultimately move as
they please.

Wundersign
Initially skeptical, I became intrigued with
the idea of babies using sign language
when I saw a friend communicate with her
young baby using sign language. There was
no fuss, no tears, and my friend knew exactly
what her baby wanted! Indeed, this is the
goal of Mel Gibb, the founder and creator
of Wundersign: “to bridge the communication
gap that occurs within the first year of a
child’s life”. Using songs, story, dance,
and play, Wundersign classes teach parents
basic sign language skills as well as how to
understand their baby’s communication cues.
Gymboree Play & Music
I’ve been taking my kids to Gymborree
classes since they were born; they’re now
three & four! As a mom and Chiropractor I
love that they have a blast at Gymboree and
develop neurological “skills” at the same
time. I also love that the moms I meet during
classes can get together for play dates
during “open gym” time.

4Cats Art
My daughter has been taking classes at
4Cats since she was two and has learned
early how to colour, paint and sculpt with
play doh. The parented multi-media class
allowed her to be creative in an educational
and supportive environment. My daughter’s
social, physical and cognitive skills flourished,
she craved the colours, the sculpting and the
challenges, no project or class was the same.
With a different theme each season you can
enroll each session and experience something
entirely new.

Mommy Kicks Butt
Mommy Kicks Butt is a circuit-style group
fitness class incorporating cardio drills,
strength training exercises using a variety
of equipment, core work, and flexibility.
The classes were fun, challenging, and
helped me lose weight and regain my
strength and endurance. I stuck with the
program for over three months and I never
got bored! If you’re looking for a great way
to get in shape while spending quality time
with your baby, this program is for you.
