Aquadulce claudia
This is the best bean for autumn sowing, and produces a great early crop. It is a longpod variety, with lots of seeds.
This has been a gardener's favourite for a long time, and continues to be improved
De Monica
This is an aquadulce type bean with a strong root and produces numerous stems per plant. It is the earliest maturing of all the broad beans and the pods are usually very full at 6 inches in legth.
Robin Hood
This is a shortpod variety and is very compact in growth, making it ideal for growing in containers. It is a green bean variety and produces an abundance of about 6 seeds per pod. Great for small space gardening.

Masterpiece Green
This longpod variety is packed with seed and is probably one of the tastiest beans you can buy.
The seeds are excellent for freezing.
Best sown in February for an early summer crop.
