Circle Kapers Volume 47 November Kapers Volume 47, Issue 4 - Page 2

A few words from Jackie Hello CKI Friends! I want to congratulate you all on your hard work thus far. We have had record breaking service hours reported and we have already chartered three clubs this year with many more on the way! Keep up all of your amazing work! I want to draw your attention to a few things: The District has placed an emphasis on volunteering with Young Children Priority One and Homelessness. We encourage you to reach out to the Kiwanis Family in your division and volunteer for these two causes. If you are looking for project ideas, check out these resources on our website. The District is selling baseball t-shirts to raise funds for our Governor's Project, the Welcome Home Initiative. Check out the link on page 8 to buy one of our prestigious, limited time offered shirts! As the semester draws to an end and we break for the holidays, don't forget why we are doing what we are doing. We are in CKI because we care! We want to make the world a better place by helping children learn to read, by bringing smiles and love to those who are displaced, and taking care of our Earth for future generations. Your service to others doesn't have to stop just because you are home for the holidays. Find local Kiwanis Family members and continue to make the world a better place one day at a time! Yours in service and FLACKI love, Jackie Aranibar Florida District Governor (941) 806-9468
