Event technology, changing the game
Media company the Intermedia Group hosts more than 20 events annually worldwide through its division
Interpoint Events, which was a challenge for its small events team before joining hands with Cvent.

also spending a lot of man-hours on building
websites and registering attendees manually
for their events. The team realised it was

workload and deliver work faster.

saving three hours daily on event website
set-up, registration management, invoicing
and reporting. They also saved up a lot
of time on email marketing and website

Since their initial investment in the Event
Management Software, Interpoint has
explored newer products from Cvent’s product
portfolio like CrowdCompass, OnArrival, and
more recently, Abstract Management.
“The point at which a client clicks the
register button on the website is perhaps
the most critical phase of the marketing
process,” said Simon Cooper, Interpoint
Events managing director.
“A poor experience can negatively impact an
event. We have been using Cvent for many
years to ensure the registration process is
fast, seamless and importantly gives a high
level of customer satisfaction.”
