Hey hey there, fellow freaks :-) It's that time of the month again...and not "that" time. The kind that gets you thinking less about Miley Cyrus' tongue, and back to what's really important, yep, Metal! We will say farewell to a local fave, Dethavesk! Also, continuing on our dark path with Archaic Eclipse, and maybe then we'll get our thrash on with Revocation from Boston. It's time to get our mind set and ready to go for the coming dark months, I've got the music you need to keep you warm, cozy..and evil!

These guys are just plain sick. The talent here is, well, ingenious. Their technicality is precise, clean and concise, modern yet fully indicative of thrash roots, and quite mature for this 3 piece out of none else but Boston! Their 2009 album Existence is Futile has become a staple in many die-hard locals and has critically solidified them as one of "the best new metal bands of the decade". I happened to stumble upon this band during a random search and now, not only can I not wait to see them live, they've been playing for weeks over here! They describe themselves as "Extreme Symphonic Metal" but I get a much deeper connection than that. I feel like I'm "there"..wherever they're describing. That probably sounds weird. What I really mean is, it makes me want to run naked through a misty forest and dance. Ahhh..bliss. As for the seeing them live, I can only hope it is sooner than later. If you don't already know them, you are not only missing out but have you been living under a rock? These highly talented and super young dudes from Claremont, NH have been rocking our faces off for years and it's time they go their own ways.
