And what drew you to things like Outlaw Country and Old School Rockabilly? Osmosis as far as what I'm drawn to. I really shy away from the semantics and go with whats real to me . I was raised in the Deep South so blues and country where part of the landscape in the 60's and 70's when i was the most impressionable. I think songwriting was a byproduct of being self taught. it seemed easier to me to write a song rather than to learn one. What do you think is different about playing New England venues compared to other places you play regularly?
