I gotta shout out to S.I.N.
siZZLE, this long time Emcee from
Ghana founded and organizes this
event. He is also a Solo Emcee
and also a member of the
Beatbiters. He is one of those guys
in the music biz who always says
he will hook you up with a show...
and then he actually does! He
bridges gaps between many social
scenes in the area to create,
record, and perform Hip-Hop
music, all the while bringing
different clicks together and forging
bonds amongst our fellow
musicians. Funny thing is, I don't
think he does it intentionally, he's
just good people. Some individuals
are happy working to better others
lives and help their community
grow healthy, S.I.N. is definitely
one of those people.
Putting together a rap battle
like this might at first thought seem
a simple task, but when you
actually consider the amount of
work and arrangements that must
be made you quickly realize it is far
more complicated to orchestrate.
Another thing is he builds shows
like this all the time even though
he now lives out of state and does
it for no personal fiscal gain. So
please come out to support this
event and support local Hip-Hop.
You can either sign up or come
watch but you definitely shouldn't
miss this show.

Venue - Club Metronome - Burlington, VT
When - Late November (date T/B/A)
Door Entry - $5.00 - 18+ Event
Battle - There will be 8 finalists in a bracket style tournament
with two expert judges casting their votes. The crowd will
cast the last and deciding vote to determine round winners
Rounds - 45 second turns for each Emcee per round, an OT
round will be added in the need of a tie-breaker based on the
crowd and judges decision.
Hosts - Jack Spade with DJ Dakota on the 1s and 2s
Prizes - (see article) will be awarded to the
