Churchnet's Christmas Offering Supports Global Missions Causes
Churchnet encourages you and your church to join us in celebrating God’s greatest gift by helping share the love of Jesus around the world through the Baptist World Alliance (BWA). World Missions funds given to Churchnet will support the BWA and its vital ministries around the world. Through giving to this offering you can help fulfill the call of Jesus in Acts 1:8 to be witnesses to “the remotest part of the earth.”
Uniting 231 Baptist bodies and 42 million worshippers around the world, the BWA shares news about Baptists around the globe through publications and their website (www.bwanet.org), and links up Baptist groups and individuals for ministry and evangelism through partnerships, conferences, and other resources.
The BWA encourages and fights for those Baptist communities that are oppressed and do not have the religious freedoms we often take for granted. The BWA also works to bring Baptist groups together for fellowship and unity. Finally, the BWA’s relief arm (BWAid) assists with human needs such as Tsunami, earthquake, and hurricane disasters. Churchnet is a member body of the BWA.
