The Church Fair is Coming!

Fact:
Did you know our Christmas Fair raised over $20,000 last year and that, minus expenses, every penny was donated to local charities?
Teaser:
We have been gifted a lovely “Hamper Basket” from Harrod’s of London. The Elves intend to fill it with gourmet foods, wines, and whatever else they think appropriate and are donating it to the Silent Auction. This is a very large hamper… should be quite the basket when done!
Donations:
We are so grateful for your generosity and eagerness to help us with our Christmas Fair! Our Fair is built on your generosity. We couldn’t do it without you. If you are new to our church or just want a little reminder of how you can help here is a bit of inspiration:
Attic Treasures: It’s a good time of year to clean out the attic- or the basement-. If you have items you haven’t used in the past couple of years but are still in really good condition,perhaps it’s time to move them along and we have the perfect place for them!
Book Nook: Think coffee table books, hard and soft cover books, books on tape, CDs and DVDs!
Chic Boutique: Think gently used “Chic”…It’s another good time to clean out that closet! Perhaps that lovely new outfit doesn’t fit since you lost all those pounds! …and please remember we don’t take men’s clothes and we don’t take any shoes.
Children’s Corner: Our focus is on toys and puzzles for children two years and older. If you are donating puzzles please note that you have counted all the pieces. (thanks!).
Christmas Shoppe: The Christmas Shoppe is always a big hit. Think ornaments, garland, tree toppers, Christmas plates, linens, stockings, wreaths… anything “Christmas”. Don’t have an item to donate? We actually have a few people who are always looking for pre-wrapped boxes so if you could wrap an empty box (lid and bottom separately) in holiday paper we would be most appreciative!
