Nursery/Pre-K News
This fall in Church School and Nursery/Pre-K we will be using the "Spill the Beans" curriculum. The children will be reading (or be read) the same scripture that the congregation will be hearing during worship.
The readings will be followed by activities that explain and reinforce the scripture message. We encourage you to talk to your children and share together your thoughts and opinions about what you all have heard and learned.
In October the readings are:
October 1: Exodus 2:23-25; 3:10-15; 4:10-17 ("Go Speak") Moses is called by God to lead the Israelites out of Egypt
October 8: Exodus 16:1-8 ("Go Share")
God feeds the Israelites in the desert
October 15: 1 Samuel 3:1-21 ("Go Hear")
God calls Samuel
October 22: 1 Samuel 16:1-13; Psalm 51:10-14 ("Go Look")
Let me hear the sounds of joy and gladness
October 29: 1 Kings 5:1-5; 8:1-13 ("Go (W)holy")
