Christmas Fair — December 2
"It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!... Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before!
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come
from a store.
Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!" ~ Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas
** Did you know our Christmas Fair raised over $18,000 last year
and that, minus expenses, every penny was donated
to local charities? **
New this year:
• A wooden dollhouse. The dollhouse consists of a balcony, sliding doors, a kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms. In addition, it comes complete with furnishings and family, plus a number of accessory pieces. The retail value = $300.00!
• Small, fully decorated artificial Christmas trees, perfect for those who may find themselves in an extended care facility over the holidays or for those who just want a smaller tree.
Donations are appreciated in the following areas:
• Jams/jellies: If you who have, or are planning to make jam for the Christmas Fair, we have labels for you!
• Jewelry: All types of jewelry are welcome.
