Christmas Fair Update
by co-chairs Sandy Turner and Mora Geoffrion
“Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance,
each beautiful and unique and gone too soon.”
— Deborah Whipp
Thank you to each and every one of you who contributed
to the success of our Christmas Fair! We couldn’t have done it without your support, your dedication, your donations, your talents and your love. Whether you helped organize the Fair or participated at the church or you baked or crafted from home, your efforts were very much appreciated.
We know you are most interested in knowing how the Fair “faired”. At this point in time we are still settling out expenses and we still have monies coming in so we do not have a final number to report. We can tell you at the end of the day of the Fair we had raised $200.00 more than at the same point in time at the end of the day of last year’s Fair so that is good news. It is especially note-worthy when we take into consideration that we had fewer people attending this year.
Most importantly, as in past years, all proceeds of this year’s Fair will be donated to local charities!!! Stay tuned for the final report!
