Church on the Green Newsletter January 2018 | Page 6

This is a perfect devotion for anyone who can’t easily get out for meetings. Not digitally-savvy? No problem — you can do this with just a book! Can’t start right on January 1? No problem — the book is laid out by each date of the year so you can start in at any time and join us right where we are at any point during the year. Not finished all the readings by our meeting? Come anyway! We’ll be sharing about what we’ve read and have excerpts to talk about.

This is a great way to learn the full arc of the bible, all the hard stories as well as the favorites you have, and to do it with others so we can process it and integrate it’s meaning for our lives together.

We are starting January 1, 2018! Our first monthly meeting will be: Wednesday, January 17 , 7-8:30 pm at Rinaldi’s Restaurant in Longmeadow. Join us for dinner and conversation about the Bible in a Year Project.

However you choose to usher in the New Year, may it be full of healing light and new blessings for you and those you love,

—Pastor Marisa

Where to Park? The Blessing of Walking

Please do not park on Williams St. right by the church door or directly in front of the church, if you can walk from farther away. We have very limited handicap parking; plus the cold weather

makes it more difficult to get into the church. During this winter season lets park by ability—if you can park farther away, do!
