Watch the UMass Marching Band in the Rose Parade at 11 am
First Church member Matt Garrity and the 400+ member UMass Minuteman Marching Band will be marching in the famed Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA on New Years Day. They learned they had been chosen to be in the parade in October, 2016, and since then have raised enough money to buy all new uniforms in time for the event.
The parade begins at 11:00 am and is broadcast on many major networks (HGTV and Hallmark usually air it commercial free). The band has been assigned spot #11 in the line-up, so be sure to tune in early to see them and cheer them on!
