First Church now has a defibrillator installed on the wall at the Williams St entrance. A number of people have attended trainings. For those who have not or for a refresher, the link below provides a four-minute video that takes you step by step through the process of using the device. The device itself gives voice
instructions for use. It couldn’t be more user-friendly!

Christmas Fair Update
We are delighted to report The 2017 Christmas Fair was a great success! After expenses we totaled $20,200! As in the past, 100% of the proceeds will be distributed to local charities. This year, the Women’s Benevolent Society will be making donations to 18 charities in our community.
Many thanks to all the wonderful people who worked long and hard to orchestrate, organize and fill our Fair with love. And thanks to all who baked, crafted, donated and/ or volunteered in any capacity. We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you!
This year we would like to especially recognize Stan for the Fair’s “Best New Idea” (moving jewelry to the 1st floor nursery) and to recognize Candy Heaphy and Don Murphy for a great job in “Passing the Baton!” (They made the “newbie’s work” so much easier). All together we have the best group of volunteers anywhere!
