Need a New Year’s Resolution? Now’s your chance to fill in the full narrative of our scriptures – the hard books and the easy, the poetry and the prose, the prophets and the Psalms, the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament – read at your own pace as a private devotion and join in for group conversations over food!
Pastor Marisa of First Church and Pastor Harvey Hill of St. Andrews/St. David’s are teaming up to read the Bible in a Year – won’t you join them?
Here’s what they are doing:
• using The Daily Message: Through the Bible in One Year by Eugene Peterson
• 10 minutes per day reading – off on Sundays
• monthly gatherings with Pastors Marisa & Harvey over food to talk about what we’ve read
• online video shorts about each book of the bible to enhance your reading
• online chat so you can talk to us in between gatherings about your questions and reflections
