Kimola brown
A 24 year old young native of St. Ann in Jamaica, Minister Kimola Brown started singing from the tender age of nine. She began as a choir member and as her confidence grew along with her ability, she became lead singer and soon on to ministering on stage at concerts at her church and in other areas as well.
Her vocal training was emphasized at school, as she was one of the most sought after lead singers in her school. Those opportunities opened doors for her and she began to perform regularly at church on the church choir and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) school festival. In 2006, she advanced to the semi-final round of the JCDC Gospel Festival. In 2009, she was a finalist also in 2012.
Kimola has mounted stages in and around the (14) fourteen parishes of Jamaica. Her ministry has also been heard in Toronto Canada and different islands in the Caribbean such as Barbados. While she has been ministering in person, her music has been played in different countries in the world such as the US, UK, and as far as Africa.
Minister Kimola Brown is also a preacher and expounder of the word. She enjoys delivering powerful messages to the heart of people who has lost hope. With the intention of having dynamic dual ministry, Kimola has been working assiduously at her craft.
This Minister has been known to sum up her hopes, dreams and aspirations with four simple words: "Singing is my passion". But after hearing her, you will quickly learn that she is not just a singer, but a minister of the gospel through gospel music. She gave her heart to the Lord more than 13 years ago and believes that her talent should be used to reach souls. While she does have the desire to become a critically acclaimed gospel artist, her ultimate aim and determination is to see lives change.
Minister Kimola released her album "Lift Him up" in July 2012.
