Spain CHANGING LETTERS During this Erasmus project, our students also had the opportunity to write letters to the rest of the countries involved and to receive an answer to their questions and curiosity. It was an enriching experience that has helped them learn different things about their penpals: their hobbies, their interests and their culture. Nowadays society is characterised by the overuse of technological devices and social media by children and teenagers. Sometimes, this can distract them from the life in front of them. Moreover, they are used to communicating by means of instant messaging and apps such as Whatsapp. It seems that they have forgotten how to use a pen and a piece of paper. In spite of the fact that writing letters has become obsolete nowadays, through this activity, our students have been able to know a different way of communication and they have also experienced it in first person. They have understood the value of expressing themselves through words and of communicating with a person whose profile picture they could not see. Thank you Portugal, Poland, Lithuania, Italy and Hungary for sharing a part of you with us!
