After two years of immersion in the Erasmus+ Project "Your History is Our
History”, it has come to an end. We have experienced two years of enriching and
positive work, together with our friends from Poland, Portugal, Italy, Hungary and
Lithuania. Two years of discovery, team spirit and friendship, in which we have
concluded that our history is more important than we used to think.
People live in the present. They plan for and worry about the future. History,
however, is the study of the past. It is something essential for understanding who
we are and where we come from. Furthermore, history helps provide identity, is
essential for good citizenship, contributes to moral understanding and, of course,
helps us understand people, societies and different cultures.
That is what we wanted our students to be aware of since the beginning of the
project. Undoubtedly, we have achieved the goals that we set two years ago. Let’s
