terms & conditions
1. All bookings require a non-refundable, non-transferable £10
deposit within 10 days of a provisional booking being made or
the Hotel may release your provisional booking without
prior notification.
2. The final balance is due by the 1st of November 2017. If your
booking is made after the 1st of November the full balance is
due at the time of booking.
3. You can add to your booking at any time (subject to
availability), but if you need to reduce numbers, you won’t
receive a refund and your deposit cannot be transferred to
cover drinks or accommodation. The final number of guests is
required 10 working days prior to your event. This number will
be considered guaranteed.
11. Dress code – we respectfully ask our guests that smart
casual wear be worn at all our Festive Events (No jeans or
trainers). Hogmanay ball is black tie.
12. If a specific wine ordered is unavailable, you will receive a
suitable alternative.
13. The Hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if
he/she is causing a disturbance, annoying other guests or staff
or is behaving in an unacceptable manner
14. Dinner service will begin promptly so please arrive in good
time so as not to inconvenience other guests.
15. Bedrooms will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival.
4. Please make cheques payable to The Marine Hotel and send
to the hotel direct. One organiser’s cheque per party please. All
catering, pre-orders and wine must be pre-paid. 16. All accommodation must be fully prepaid by the 1st of
November 2017. All payments are non-refundable, please
ensure everyone in your party are aware.
5. Should your party cancel after full pre-payment has been
made no money will be refunded. 17. All prices include VAT at the current rate.
6. A separate contract will be issued for parties of 70 guests
and over.
7. Whilst every consideration will be made to accommodate
your seating preferences, these cannot always be guaranteed.
Table layouts, table sizes and room plans are at the discretion of
the hotel, at this is impacted by numbers attending each event.
8. All party nights are subject to demand exceeding the
minimum numbers required to proceed with a successful event,
if not alternative dates with availability may be offered.
9. If we have to cancel a party or change the entertainment,
you’ll be informed and may be offered an alternative event or
a refund.
10. No beverages of any kind are permitted to be brought into
the Hotel.
Dietary Requirements
If you would like information on allergens contained within
any of our menu items, please speak to a member of staff who
will assist you.
Liabilities
The hotel shall not be liable to an attendee or guests for any
loss or damage to their personal belongings.
