Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard. It’s a little bit tougher read, but has
some really rich content.
6. If you could collaborate on a song with any musician/band (past, or
present) who would you choose?
Hmmm, this is another tough question. I’d probably have to go with either
U2 or the Foo Fighters.
7. Being an original member/the lead vocalist for Kutless, do you prefer the
worship side, or the rock, or both?
I really love both. Performing the rock stuff is a lot of fun, but the worship
moments are often really powerful. It’s amazing to see people respond to
the music and pour their hearts out to God. I think that’s why we’ve always
done both. We love to jump around and have a great time, but we we are
always very aware of the true reason we are playing music - to bring glory,
honor, and praise to our Savior.
8. Tea or coffee?
Being from the Pacific NW no one can believe that I don’t drink coffee. I’ve
just never liked the taste of it, so definitely tea. I frequently drink a tea
called Throat Coat that is really helpful when I have to do a lot of singing.
9. Your debut solo album "Faith & Family" just came out. Are you working
on any other projects at the moment?
We are currently writing songs for the next Kutless record. We always love
having new songs to play and I’m looking forward to getting to share some
of the songs we are working on now in the not too distant future.
10. Do you have anything you'd like to say to your fans?
I’d just like to say thank you for supporting us all of these years. We’ve seen
a lot change over the past 13 years and we’ve seen many bands come and
go during that time frame. It is a true privilege and honor to know that
people still care about our music and are interested in what we have to say.
It is a responsibility that we do not take lightly and I hope we can continue
to produce new music and encourage people in their walks with God for
many, many more years. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and
support. We truly could not still be doing this without it.
