Fact: Meant to be a catalyst for other worship communities to take hold of what it means to “not be shaken,” We Will Not Be Shaken’s title track was birthed in a spontaneous moment of worship on a Sunday morning service at Bethel. We Will Not Be Shaken is a live CD/DVD recorded during an intimate evening of worship lead by the Bethel Music Artist Collective, which includes Brian Johnson, Jenn Johnson, Hunter Thompson, Amanda Cook and Matt Stinton, as well as debut artists Kalley Heiligenthal, Hannah McClure, Paul McClure, Jonathan David Helser and Melissa Helser. Recorded as a live CD/DVD, We Will Not Be Shaken includes 11 all new original songs from Bethel Music. It is an out-and-out worship release, on which each track contains lyrics that praise and glorify God, and point toward His faithfulness, love, and grace. As for the DVD portion of the release, it was filmed in a beautiful setting on a mountaintop overlooking Shasta Lake north of Redding, CA, providing a magnificent view alongside the worship set. It truly captures the energy and sincerity expressed by both the worship team and the audience. Considering the setting, and the fact that the live video was filmed in the evening (it transitions from day to night), the cinematography and directing were expertly handled. Needless to say, the production is great on all fronts. Because of the vast number of contributing artists/vocalists/songwriters present on We Will Not Be Shaken, every track is bestowed with a certain uniqueness, and each one is superb at that. We Will Not Be Shaken is a beautiful worship album, only made that much better with the accompanying visual aspect provided.
